If you thought the gift giving season was over with the New Year, think again. Another gift giving “festival” is upon us and it is only a few weeks away — the Valentine’s day. Instead of getting procrastinating till the last moment, it is better to buy your gifts now when the stores are still in festive mood. Buying ahead means more savings and more discounts.
A good central place to look for savings is Savings.com — a site that provides coupons and savings for all your gifting needs. Let’s see what are you thinking of buying for that special someone — flowers, jewelry, chocolate, a vacation? I took a quick look at savings.com and found discounts from 10% to 70%. Just on the front page of the site you can see discounts for 50% off to select Victoria’s Secret items, 70% off to some Eddie Bauer items, and various discounts to Sears, Kohls, JC Penney, Macy’s and so on. You can also provide your email address and get savings in your inbox. There are tabs for Local stores, there is a new section on Grocery, and there is also a vibrant community where shoppers share their savings tips and secrets. There is also a blog that gives nice ideas about gifts and current fads on gift giving. So, check it out and see if this site fits your needs.
